Every Raleigh Cakes order is made from scratch and built around your vision with only real eggs, butter and premium ingredients:, no box mixes and no shortcuts. We  start our estimate process with a few quick questions about your event. It takes a minute or two. We read every inquiry and reply typically within hours. Once the details are set, we can send an invoice for your deposit, and your date is locked!

Before you reach out…

• Lead time: 1 to 2 weeks notice is usually enough for smaller/simpler themed custom cakes. For 3d/sculpted/hyper-realistic almost always needs more notice. A Monday request for that weekend is usually doable; a request on Friday for the following Monday, is difficult but not impossible, we will try to help if we can! Signature Cakes require only 3 business days lead time and you can order right now online.
  
  
• Pricing: Custom cakes start at $200 for between 12-16 servings and it depends heavily on the design and complexity.  3d sculpted and hyper-realistic work often start closer to $250-275 for smaller cakes and depend on design complexity. Below that size or budget, our Signature Cakes are built for exactly this and often a better option for smaller gatherings and we have a Design Your Own Theme
  
  
• Estimates: Vague requests can slow things down. Please give us a theme or general concept, colors, and inspiration photos (Pinterest, Google Images, even AI-generated) rather than “something simple and elegant” — the more specific and detailed you are, the faster and more accurate your estimate. If you are uncertain, include a max budget and we can send options that can work for it!
  
  
• Scope: We don’t make or offer specialty or undecorated cakes (cheesecakes, pies, tarts, etc) except for larger events, nor grocery-style sheet cakes outside of weddings, or any standalone edible decor. We offer various budget friendly “Design Your Own Cake” options including Theme Cakes and Image Cakes through our Signature Store that offers personalization/light customizations you can order online in minutes.
  
  
• Booking: This is a request for an estimate and availability only, and submissions do not guarantee a booking. We work on a “first to book” policy. All bookings are secured with a paid deposit.
